300KM from Abel Tasman on the Western cost of the south Island is Pancake Rocks and Blowholes.
This site is spectacular (as all the west coast!) as this is full of limestone rocks and create pancake shapes and where the sea bursts through several vertical Blowholes during high tides. Together with the 'pancake'-layering of the limestone (created by immense pressure on alternating hard and soft layers of marine creatures and plant sediments).
