What does Thailand mean to you?
Many things indeed and Muay Thai or Thai boxing is part of the culture here and therefore Fab and Myself couldn't resist to stay one week of training At Team Quest partly founded by Randy Couture, UFC champion (and get ass kicked, we were not ready for that!!)
For your knowledge Muay Thai or also called "the art of eight limbs" is a martial art of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is a combo of fists, elbows, knees, shins and feet, being associated with a good physical preparation that we have suffered of!!!!
How to feel broken and like a grand-pa in few days!
We so had 6 days training including 2 trainings and days were roughly programmed that way:
Morning training:
• 6.00am Wake up lazy man, kick your ass out of the bed and get your breakfast!
• 7.00 until 9.00
20min run followed by stretching and shadows
Next learning the perfect Muay Thai basics with our insane trainer, not perfect 20 push-ups!! Take that in your face!!
With then bag and pads trainings as technics!
And to finish push-ups and abs!! Time to have a good nap!!
Afternoon training:
4.00pm to 6pm. Same same!! Repeat and repeat and learn more and more technics until you die of them!!
Now to test and party!!
7.00 a 9.00
16.00 a 18.00.
